The unexpected interaction took place on Weverse, where a Pakistani fan asked V to visit Pakistan. In response, the singer playfully asked whether fans would prepare biryani and karahi for him if he visited.

The comment quickly went viral among BTS fans, known as ARMYs, with many Pakistani followers expressing excitement that the K-pop star was familiar with some of their country’s most popular foods. Fans flooded social media with reactions, jokes and plans to welcome V with traditional Pakistani cuisine.

Many fans humorously declared that biryani and karahi were Pakistani specialties, using the singer’s comment as an opportunity to celebrate their national food culture. While the dishes are also enjoyed in other South Asian regions, the discussion became a light-hearted online debate among fans.

V’s comments appeared to be part of a wider conversation about food with international fans. In other interactions, he reportedly showed interest in trying Turkish kebabs and asked a Bangladeshi fan about popular foods in their country, suggesting that his curiosity extended to different cuisines around the world.

Pakistani ARMYs responded by sharing suggestions of other traditional dishes that they would like BTS members to try, including a variety of regional foods representing the country’s diverse culinary heritage.

The exchange added to the growing global cultural connection between K-pop and fans from different countries. BTS has one of the world’s largest fan communities, and interactions between its members and international followers often generate significant online attention.
