Departmental representatives welcomed the PCB’s decision to finalise the schedule well in advance. They said the early announcement provides sufficient time to complete operational planning and coordinate preparations before the competition begins.
Officials also noted that receiving the schedule nearly two and a half months early will help departments secure budget approvals. Moreover, confirmation of host cities allows participating teams to develop travel and logistical plans more efficiently.
The President Trophy Grade One remains one of Pakistan’s leading domestic first-class tournaments. Therefore, the competition will provide players with valuable opportunities to perform and strengthen their prospects for higher-level selection.
