PML-N names candidates to battle Nisar for NA seats

Published on: June 24, 2018 7:33 PM

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Sunday announced candidates to compete with Chaudhry Nisar for the NA-59 and NA-63 constituencies.

PML-N has granted tickets to Raja Qamar-ul-Islam for NA-59 (Rawalpindi-III) and Mumtaz Khan for NA-63 (Rawalpindi-VII), two constituencies Nisar will also compete from as an independent candidate.

Earlier, Nisar announced that he would contest general elections from four constituencies – NA-59, NA-63 for the National Assembly and PP-10 and PP-12 for the Provincial Assembly.

He also decided to contest as independent candidate after his differences with PML-N could not reach a settlement.
