Indian troops continue acts of terrorism, martyr three Kashmiri youth in IoK

SRINAGAR: Indian troops on Monday martyred three Kashmiri youth in Kulgam district of Indian Occupied Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS) India’s latest act of terrorism killed a youth during a cordon off in Qaimoh area of the district.

Protests broke out as people took it to the streets, staging forceful demonstrations against the search operation  and the killing of the Kashmiri youth.

The indian troops, while making efforts to disperse the demonstrators fired teargas shells which triggered a clash between the protestors and the army personnel.

KMS asserted that the clashes were underway till the last report came in before the mobile internet services were suspended in Kulgam and Islamabad districts.

On the other hand, on June 25, Indian forced killed five people with dozens injured including a woman in Anantnag district.

Indian troops during the operation, martyred four youths and destroyed a house. Earlier, an Indian policeman was killed along with two troops wounded in an attack.

Earlier on June 14, the United Nations (UN) had accused India of using excessive force in occupied Kashmir since 2016, calling for an international inquiry into the human rights violations against the Kashmiris.

The UN report was the first after 30 years, that took notice of the plight of Kashmiris. According to the 49 pages report, a total of 145 civilians have been martyred by the indian forces since July 2016 to April 2018.
