A PTI govt is threat to Islam, says Fazl

Published on: July 17, 2018 8:32 PM

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) and Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman on Tuesday said that if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) form government during next elections, Islam will no longer exist in the country.

“MMA’s competition is with those who want to separate state and religion and the union is determined to uphold the sanctity of Islam. If PTI forms a government in general elections, there will be no Islam,” Fazl said while speaking to media in Dera Ismail Khan.

Speaking about the recent terrorist attacks in the country, Fazl questioned the performance of the security agencies. “If terrorists have been defeated, then why are they rising again?” he questioned.

He added that in current circumstances, there is fear among people and that stern security should be ensured to avoid any mishaps during polling.
