Prime Minister Khan inaugurates four new trains to facilitate common man

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday inaugurated four new train services for the underprivileged class of the country.

Prime Minister while addressing the inauguration ceremony said that only the underprivileged class and common man use trains for daily commute.

He said that this is the first time that train tracks are being set up and repaired to facilitated the average person in the country.

PM Imran said that in the past political hirings were done in the railways department and now the jobs will be given on the basis of merit.

Imran Khan while addressing to the Railway Minister said “Sheikh Rasheed you should see who is being hired on merit and who isn’t. You should expel those not hired on the basis of merit.” Prime Minister Imran Khan was set to inaugurate two trains via video link on Friday.

Prime Minister also inaugurated Sindh Express and Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Express in Karachi and Sukkur via a video link.

Sindh Express will travel from Karachi to Sukkur while the Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Express will run from Karachi to Mirpurkhas.
