Suicide attackers are enemies of Pakistanis, Islam and humanity: Ulema Board

A joint statement released from Muthahida Ulema Board Punjab with consent of leading Scholars of different religious sects of Pakistan, condemned suicide attack at Police and innocent people during the holy month of Ramazan. The Joint Statement of Muthahida Ulema Board Punjab while considering targeted attack at police, innocent people and law enforcement agencies as anti-Shariah stated that sanctity of the holy month of Ramazan was ensured even in primitive time but these barbaric terrorists are targeting innocent people during the holy month of Ramazan.

The statement further says: Islamic Shariah has proscribed suicide blasts, terror attacks and killings of innocent people. Terrorist’ suicide blast outside Lahore Data Darbar (Hazrat Ali Hajveri) is a heinous terrorist act by the enemies of humanity. People of Pakistan are united with Pak-Force and law enforcement agencies of the country to eliminate the menace of terrorism and extremism from Pakistan.

Chairman Muthahida Ulema Board Punjab Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi and Coordinator Muthahida Ulema Board Punjab Zialul Naqshbandi and other members of the board including Dr. Raghib Naeemi, Allama Muhammad Hussain Akbar, Maulana Prof. Abdul Rehman Ludhyanvi, Maulana Abdul Karim Nadeem, Maulana Abdul Haq Mujahjd, Maulana Fazalur Raheem, Maulana Afzal Haidri, Maulana Mufti Muhammad Ali Naqshbandi, Maulana Dr. Sarfraz Ahmed Awan and Maulana Zafarullah Shafiq stated that elements responsible for suicide attack at Lahore Data Darbar during the holy month of Ramazan are enemies of Islam and Pakistanis. Enemy of Islam and Pakistan aims at fanning sectarian violence and anarchy in the country by terrorist attacks. People of Pakistan, Ulemas and law enforcement agencies of the country will not allow these terrorists and extremist elements to fulfill their nefarious bids.

Elements responsible for suicide terrorist attack outside Lahore Datha Darbar have no linkage with Islam, humanity and Pakistan. Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council and Muthahida Ulema Board Punjab have also summoned the emergency meeting of Muthahida Ulema Board Punjab to look into the scenario developed from terrorist attack at Lahore Data Darbar.
