Fast bowler Hasan Ali made headlines by breaking a significant record in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Playing for Karachi Kings, he achieved this milestone during a match against Quetta Gladiators on Friday. Karachi Kings batted first, scoring 175 runs for seven wickets. In response, Quetta Gladiators struggled, managing only 119 runs, giving Karachi a 56-run victory.
In this match, Hasan Ali showcased his skills by taking three wickets, solidifying his team’s victory. More importantly, he surpassed Wahab Riaz’s record for most wickets in PSL history. Hasan accomplished this feat by dismissing Hasan Nawaz for just one run during the game against Quetta.
With this achievement, Hasan Ali now holds the record for most wickets in PSL history, with 116 wickets in 84 innings. Previously, Wahab Riaz held this title, having taken 113 wickets in 87 innings. Hasan’s performance has underscored his exceptional talent and consistency in the league.
So far in PSL 10, Hasan Ali has been in great form, claiming eight wickets across three matches. Karachi Kings have secured two wins and suffered one loss, positioning themselves third on the points table with four points. This remarkable achievement has strengthened Hasan’s reputation as a leading fast bowler in the PSL.
