India’s proxy war fully exposed, Says field marshal Asim Munir

Published on: June 1, 2025 7:20 PM

Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir has declared that India’s proxy war against Pakistan is no longer hidden, adding that Pakistan has undeniable evidence of Indian interference. He warned that any threats to Pakistan’s sovereignty would be met with a strong and decisive response.

He made these remarks while addressing a grand jirga in Quetta, alongside Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The jirga was organized to consult tribal leaders on Balochistan’s security and development concerns. Munir emphasized that the Pakistan Army is fully prepared to counter any threat and will never compromise on peace in Balochistan.

Field Marshal Munir stressed that the region’s stability and prosperity are vital for Pakistan’s future. He stated that the enemy’s intentions would be thwarted at all costs and highlighted that the army stands united with the people of Balochistan to protect national interests.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif accused India of backing terrorist groups that aim to disrupt peace and hinder development in Balochistan. He pointed specifically to groups like “Fitna al-Hind,” which, he said, seek to create local support networks to destabilize the region.

The prime minister praised the tribal elders for their positive role in maintaining order and urged continued grassroots engagement. He stated that winning the fight against terrorism requires community involvement, along with a strong commitment from the government, armed forces, and law enforcement agencies.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Sharif assured that no space will be given to anti-peace elements. He vowed that decisive action would be taken against terrorists, their facilitators, and supporters. Tribal leaders, in turn, pledged their full support to the government and military in preserving peace and sovereignty.
