Iran’s missile barrage forces Israeli military briefing to halt amid Tel Aviv panic

Published on: June 14, 2025 1:10 AM

In a powerful act of retaliation, Iran launched over 100 ballistic missiles at Israel early Friday. The attack followed deadly Israeli airstrikes that hit dozens of locations across Iran, including military compounds and nuclear facilities. Sirens blared across Israel, and thick plumes of smoke were seen rising over Tel Aviv.

As explosions echoed, Israeli citizens rushed to bunkers. Streets emptied as authorities urged everyone to stay inside. The panic was so severe that an ongoing Israeli military press conference had to be paused abruptly. Live footage showed officials stepping away, clearly shaken by incoming alerts.

Earlier that morning, Israel had struck Iran with intense air raids, claiming to target high-level commanders and strategic sites. Iranian officials confirmed the loss of six nuclear scientists, senior military leaders, and over 70 civilians, including women and children. Dozens more suffered injuries in the strikes.

Iran’s leadership called the counterattack “a necessary response”. The government declared it part of “Operation True Promise 3”, warning Israel of further consequences if aggression continues. Iranian forces said they targeted military and intelligence hubs inside Israel, though most damage was to property. Seven Israelis were reportedly injured.

The region remains on high alert. Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed to make life bitter for Israelis, adding that “they started this war, and now they must face its outcome.” So far, no signs of de-escalation have emerged, as both sides stand ready for further action.
