Published on: July 4, 2025 6:04 PM

The Election Commission of Pakistan announced the Senate election date for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on July 21, 2025. This election will fill multiple important seats representing the province. Voters will elect members for general, women, and technocrat seats.

In total, the election will cover 7 general seats and 2 women’s seats. Additionally, 2 technocrat seats will also be contested in this election. These seats are crucial for provincial representation in the Senate.

Alongside the regular election, the Election Commission declared a separate schedule for a by-election. This by-election is for the Senate seat vacated by Sania Nishtar.

Polling for the vacant seat will take place on July 31, 2025. This gives voters in the province two important election dates to remember. The Commission is ensuring the election process remains smooth and transparent.

Overall, the announcement confirms election preparations are on track. The Senate elections will strengthen democratic representation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The nation watches closely as voting day approaches.
