PM Shehbaz invites UAE telecom giant to expand investment in Pakistan

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with a delegation from a leading UAE-based telecom company on Monday in Islamabad. He welcomed the delegation and invited them to explore further investment opportunities in Pakistan’s key economic sectors. The prime minister assured full support and facilities for foreign investors.

The meeting included Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, and IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja. PM Shehbaz highlighted the strong cultural and religious ties between Pakistan and the UAE. He emphasized that providing a business-friendly environment for foreign companies is a government priority.

The UAE company’s CEO said they had been successfully investing in Pakistan for the last 19 years. He added that the company aims to expand its business operations in the country. The CEO appreciated Pakistan’s business potential and the government’s supportive attitude toward foreign investors.

The visiting delegation shared that over 10,000 Pakistanis are working with their company, playing vital roles. They expressed their commitment to long-term investment in Pakistan’s future. The group showed strong interest in strengthening their presence in the country.

Both sides agreed that stronger business relations would benefit the economies of Pakistan and the UAE. The meeting ended with mutual optimism about future cooperation and economic growth.
