Gold price falls by Rs1,100 per tola in Pakistan

Published on: August 19, 2025 3:25 PM

Gold prices dropped in Pakistan on Tuesday, following a decline in the international market. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola fell by Rs1,100, bringing the new rate to Rs356,600.

Similarly, the 10-gram gold price decreased by Rs943, now standing at Rs305,727. This drop comes just a day after gold gained Rs1,500 per tola on Monday, when it had risen to Rs357,700.

In global markets, gold also saw a dip. The international price fell by $11, reaching $3,339 per ounce, including a $20 premium, as reported by APGJSA.

Despite fluctuations in gold, silver prices remained stable. The price of silver per tola held steady at Rs4,031, with no change recorded for the day.

Gold prices in Pakistan often move in tandem with global trends, influenced by currency rates, demand, and international market shifts.
