Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s Star-Studded California Wedding Set for September 27

Published on: September 27, 2025 1:40 PM

SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA – Pop sensation Selena Gomez is preparing to say “I do” to music producer Benny Blanco in what is already being billed as one of Hollywood’s biggest weddings of the year. The ceremony will take place on September 27, 2025, in Santa Barbara, drawing a glittering guest list of A-list stars.

Among the first arrivals was Gomez’s longtime best friend, Taylor Swift, who touched down in California on September 26. Notably, she arrived without her fiancé, NFL star Travis Kelce. Paparazzi captured Swift stepping off her private plane, shielded from cameras by black umbrellas—fueling speculation that she is keeping her look under wraps for the big day.

Sources confirmed that Gomez hosted her rehearsal dinner later that evening, with Swift believed to have been among the close friends in attendance. Members of Swift’s team were spotted carrying luggage and a large white box, widely assumed to be a wedding gift for the bride and groom.

The ceremony is being overseen by celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss, famed for curating some of Hollywood’s most glamorous nuptials. The event will welcome an array of high-profile names, including Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Ashley Park, as well as Paris Hilton, Nicola Peltz, and Brooklyn Beckham.

An insider described the wedding as “a huge, A-list, star-studded event”—with more big names expected to join the celebrations.

While Travis Kelce was invited, his attendance seems unlikely. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is scheduled to play against the Baltimore Ravens on September 28, making it nearly impossible for him to be in California due to the NFL’s strict travel and curfew rules.

Even without Kelce, the atmosphere around the wedding is already electric. Friends, family, and some of the entertainment world’s most recognizable figures are gathering to celebrate Gomez and Blanco’s milestone moment in what promises to be a glamorous, emotional affair.
