KU announces result of BCom examination

The University of Karachi declared the results of BCom Part-II, both parts, Regular and External, Annual Examination 2024.

The gazette shows that 1,528 candidates were registered and 1,403 students appeared in the BCom regular exams of which 22 candidates were passed with first position, 725 students with second position, and three candidates were third division. The overall pass percentage was 53.46 percent.

It also shows that 506 candidates were registered and 452 students appeared in the BCom external papers and eight candidates cleared the exams with first division, 181 students with second division, and the pass percentage was 41.81 percent. app

Separately, the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) has announced the results of the Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) 3rd Year (morning and evening) annual examinations for the year 2025. A ceremony was held under the chair of the Chairman SBTE, Musheerf Ali Rajput was held on Thursday.

According to the press release, a total of 14,229 students from across Sindh participated in the examinations, out of which 13,290 were declared successful. The overall success ratio stood at 93.40 percent. From the Karachi region, 11,069 students appeared, of whom 10,321 passed, making the success rate for Karachi 93.24 percent. In the Sukkur region, 3,160 students appeared in the exam, with 2,969 passing, resulting in a success rate of 93.96 percent.

Muhammad Haris s/o Muhammad Habib of Excellence College of Technology Karachi, secured first position by securing 2832 marks out of 3200, Manahil Amjad D/O Raja Amjad Nazir of SUPARCO Institute achieved 2nd position, while Obaid s/o Syed Tanveer of Excellence College Karachi secured 3rd position.

Chairman Musheerf Ali Rajput presented the position-holder students with shields, medals, merit certificates, mark sheets, scholarships, and cash prizes.
