Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry said Pakistan will no longer tolerate protests that disrupt peace. Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, he condemned the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) for spreading unrest instead of holding peaceful protests. He emphasized that while peaceful protest is a constitutional right, disorder and violence will not be allowed.
Chaudhry stressed that the government respects democratic traditions, allowing protests under strict conditions. However, he warned that anyone exercising this right must follow the law. He highlighted TLP’s violent past protests that attacked security forces and damaged public and private property, causing loss of lives, including security personnel.

He further stated that such faction-based politics and demands will no longer have space in Pakistan. Chaudhry pointed out that TLP’s current protests are falsely justified in the name of Palestine and Gaza. He criticized this, noting that worldwide supporters of Palestine are celebrating peace, while TLP causes disruption domestically.
Chaudhry expressed hope that a historic peace agreement has finally given Palestinians their rights. He said Palestinians are grateful for the opportunity to rebuild their homeland. He praised Pakistan and other Muslim countries for supporting this positive outcome.
