Private Hajj booking deadline extended to October 22

Published on: October 18, 2025 4:16 AM

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has extended the booking deadline for private Hajj applications under the Private Hajj Scheme 2026 to October 22, from the earlier date of October 17. All Munazzims have been advised to complete the booking process of pilgrims within the extended period in accordance with the Hajj Policy and Plan 2026, according to a notification issued by the ministry on Friday. It may be noted that 60,000 seats have been reserved for private bookings under the Hajj scheme, out of which 55,500 applications have been received so far. Therefore, 4,500 seats are still available for private bookings. The spokesperson of the ministry urged intending pilgrims to verify the list of approved Hajj companies on the ministry’s official website and to deposit the Hajj fee directly into the accounts of approved companies through proper banking channels. He further advised pilgrims to obtain a copy of their Hajj agreement and computerized receipt after completing the booking process.
