The Rupee on Thursday appreciated by 3 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 281.02 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 281.05. According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the Dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 282.5 and Rs 282.7, respectively. The price of the Euro increased by 09 paisa to close at Rs 326.00 against the last day’s closing of Rs 325.91, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The Japanese Yen came down by 01 paisa and closed at Rs 1.84, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound increased by 77 paisa to close at Rs 375.23 compared to the previous day’s Rs 374.46.
