Farhan Saeed announces first solo album ‘Khat’

Published on: November 7, 2025 1:04 AM

After more than two decades of making, producing and writing music that has defined his era, Farhan Saeed, Pakistan’s only artist to shine both as a singer and an actor, is now all set to release his first-ever solo album, titled ‘Khat.’

With his upcoming film “Luv Di Saun” also set to release soon, Farhan continues to prove himself as a true superstar, combining music, performance and emotion. This album opens a deeply personal chapter in his journey – one that reflects his evolution as an artist and his lasting bond with listeners who have grown with his music.

Farhan Saeed announced on his Instagram on Monday that his first solo album, Khat, is officially on the way. Sharing that the album will feature 10 tracks, each set to release monthly, Farhan introduced the album with the message, “From cassettes to reels – 21 years later, I’m still writing to you. This one’s a Khat… from my heart to yours.” The announcement reflects his signature sincerity and heartfelt storytelling, with Khat promising a blend of emotion, nostalgia and the authenticity that has long defined his sound.

The upcoming album presents tracks in Urdu and Punjabi, created in collaboration with various talented composers and lyricists. Four music videos are already ready to launch, each directed by different filmmakers, promising a fresh visual and emotional experience with every release. The first music video is set to release on November 14, kicking off the album’s journey with its heartfelt visuals and sound.

Speaking about the album, Farhan Saeed shared, “Music has always been something I’ve lived. I’ve been fortunate that audiences have always understood and connected with how I express myself through my songs. How my music becomes part of people’s journeys – that’s the most special part for me. This album is inspired by my fans and their constant love. It’s a Khat from my heart to theirs.”

Known for delivering heartfelt hits, Farhan Saeed has continued to dominate the charts with songs like Khwabeeda and Andron Kha Jana earlier this year – reaffirming his position as one of Pakistan’s most celebrated and consistent voices. With Khat, he brings his artistry full circle, staying true to the emotions and honesty that have defined his career while opening a new and soulful chapter in his musical story.
