KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced that its designated branches will remain open on Saturday, November 15, to collect the second instalment of Haj dues for the next year’s pilgrimage.
The decision comes at the request of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony to facilitate intending pilgrims in completing their payments on time. According to an official press release issued by the SBP on Friday, branches will operate from 9:00am to 2:30pm to ensure smooth collection of dues.
The SBP urged all pilgrims to visit the designated branches within the specified hours to avoid any last-minute difficulties and ensure their Haj applications are processed without delay.
The initiative is part of the broader preparations for next year’s Haj season, ensuring that financial procedures are completed efficiently for all registered participants.
