KARACHI: CCTV footage has emerged showing the shocking murder of a youth in Gulshan-e-Iqbal 4, Karachi, as he was shot while riding his motorcycle on Abul Hassan Isphahani Road. The footage shows two armed men arriving shortly after the initial shooting and firing additional bullets at the victim, who had already fallen to the ground.
A few minutes later, another armed man appeared carrying weapons in both hands. He stopped a passing food delivery rider, commandeered the bike, and fled the scene. Eyewitnesses also reported that the first shooting was carried out from a car just a few steps away, and the last suspect, along with the rider, was seen leaving in a vehicle.
Police officials said the killing appears to be linked to a personal enmity, though the full circumstances remain under investigation. Authorities have lodged a First Information Report (FIR) at Mubina Town Police Station based on a complaint filed by the victim’s father.
According to the FIR, the victim was targeted due to a personal dispute. After the initial shooting, the attackers fired repeatedly, ultimately resulting in his death. Police continue to investigate the incident to identify and apprehend all suspects involved.
