Sania Mirza reveals about struggles faced after divorce
Former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza has opened up about the challenges she faces as a single mother following her divorce from Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik. In a candid conversation with filmmaker Karan Johar, Mirza revealed how her post-divorce life has changed, particularly when it comes to daily routines like meals.

Sania shared that she has stopped having dinner altogether, as she prefers not to eat alone. “I don’t enjoy dining alone,” she admitted, often choosing instead to watch something before going to bed. She mentioned that this habit sometimes also helps her manage her weight.

The tennis star also discussed the complexities of single parenting, emphasizing the emotional challenges of being separated from her son, Izhaan, while living in Dubai and traveling to India. Even a week apart from her child, she said, is especially difficult.

Mirza’s struggles are compounded by the public nature of her cross-border marriage and separation. In earlier interviews, she revealed experiencing anxiety and panic attacks following the divorce, highlighting the mental and emotional toll of the transition.

Despite these challenges, Sania continues to balance her career and motherhood, offering a candid glimpse into her life as she navigates parenthood, personal growth, and public scrutiny.
