Qatar condemns recent Israeli airstrikes on Gaza

Published on: November 20, 2025 6:45 PM

Qatar has strongly condemned Israel for launching recent airstrikes on Gaza that killed at least 30 Palestinians. The Qatari Foreign Ministry called the attacks “brutal” and warned they could destabilize the ceasefire. Qatar urged Israel to respect international law and avoid harming civilians.

According to the ministry, these strikes could undermine ongoing efforts for peace in the region. Qatar stressed that continued violence risks escalating tensions between Israel and Palestinian territories. The statement highlighted the urgent need for dialogue and adherence to humanitarian principles.

The attacks followed Israeli raids in the occupied West Bank, where several Palestinians were detained. The Gaza airstrikes injured dozens more, adding to fears of a larger humanitarian crisis. Qatar described the situation as alarming and called for immediate international attention to prevent further casualties.

Qatar also urged regional and global powers to pressure Israel to halt military actions. It emphasized that civilian protection and a sustainable ceasefire must remain priorities. The ministry expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people during this critical time.
