The annual Sports Gala at Danish School Nankana Sahib was held with great enthusiasm, vibrant performances, and exemplary discipline, as students showcased remarkable skills in athletics and various sporting competitions, winning the hearts of the audience.
The event featured a series of competitive games, an impressive parade, and well-coordinated presentations by students, making the ceremony both memorable and engaging.
The District Police Officer of Nankana Sahib, Faraz Ahmed, attended the ceremony as the chief guest. He reviewed different competitions and appreciated the students for their outstanding performance, dedication, and sportsmanship.
President Press Club District Nankana Asif Iqbal Sheikh and General Secretary Haji Nasir Iqbal also graced the occasion as guest of honour and commended the enthusiasm, discipline, and talent displayed by the students.
Speaking on the occasion, the guests highlighted that such healthy activities play a vital role in boosting confidence among children while contributing significantly to their physical and mental development. They praised the efforts of the school administration, teachers, and organizing committee for successfully arranging a well-managed and impactful event.
At the end of the ceremony, prizes were distributed among students who secured top positions in different competitions. DPO Faraz Ahmed, President Press Club Asif Iqbal Sheikh, General Secretary Haji Nasir Iqbal, Principal Danish School Col (R) Mohiuddin Athar, and senior journalist Rai Shah Nawaz Bhatti distributed awards to the winning players and teams.
Moreover, the teams securing first, second, and third positions were also presented special cash prizes by the Nankana Sahib Press Club, adding to the excitement and joy of the students.
