The US Ambassador offered technical support to enhance Pakistan’s efforts in drug enforcement and immigration control. Minister Naqvi emphasized that Pakistan has a clear policy against illegal immigration and is taking serious steps to implement it nationwide.

Minister Naqvi highlighted that all airports are being equipped with modern scanning machines to detect drugs, and the government is enforcing a strict zero-tolerance policy. He added that Afghan-origin drugs continue to harm youth globally, and US technical assistance will be welcomed. A National Narcotics Coordination Center will be established to improve inter-agency coordination.
