Mahira Khan responds to viral Neelofar crying clip criticism

Mahira Khan has reacted to criticism over a viral clip from her latest film Neelofar. The scene showed her character, a visually impaired girl, crying and hitting herself in frustration. The clip drew backlash online, with some viewers questioning her performance.

Speaking at an event hosted by Ahmed Ali Butt, Mahira acknowledged seeing the clip circulating on social media. She said she is aware that the scene, especially where she hits her face, became a major talking point.

The superstar candidly shared that everything she does seems to go viral. “Whether I do something or I don’t do anything, I know I will go viral,” she said. She added that constant scrutiny has left her feeling exhausted.
