Nick Jonas announces new album and podcast for New Year

Nick Jonas is set to kick off 2026 with fresh music and an intimate new podcast. Over the weekend, the singer revealed on Instagram that his first single from the upcoming album Sunday Best, titled Gut Punch, will be released on January 1.

Fans can expect an emotional start to the year, as the track promises to capture heartfelt reflections from the past few years of Jonas’ life.

Alongside the single, Jonas announced the launch of a podcast series, Sunday Best Conversation, co-hosted with his wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The series, debuting the same day as the single, will be available across platforms including Facebook and TikTok.

Jonas shared that the podcast will provide a candid glimpse into the stories and moments that shaped the album, including quiet walks, personal reflections, and behind-the-scenes insights.

“I’m so excited to share these new stories, candid thoughts, quiet walks home in the city, and snapshots of my life over these past few years,” Jonas said. He added that while the album took shape over the last two years, it represents “33 years in the making,” highlighting the personal significance behind the project.

Sunday Best marks Jonas’ first full solo album in nearly five years and is scheduled for release on February 6, 2026. Fans can look forward to an emotionally rich and introspective body of work, paired with a podcast that promises to bring them closer to the singer’s creative journey. With a combination of music and conversation, Jonas aims to offer listeners a reflective and engaging experience to start the new year.
