
Pakistan has earned global recognition as Karachi-based martial artist Wajahat Yar Khan set a new Guinness World Record by completing 126 push-ups at a 180-degree angle in one minute. The achievement has placed Pakistan proudly on the international fitness and martial arts map.
Moreover, the record surpassed the previous benchmark held by Britain’s Alex Golding and was officially verified by Guinness World Records. Wajahat said the milestone came after ten months of intense, disciplined, and carefully structured physical training. He described the journey as physically demanding but mentally rewarding.

Speaking about his struggle, Wajahat Yar Khan credited his success to relentless effort and strong family support, especially from his parents. He revealed that he suffered multiple injuries during both training and the record attempt. However, determination and focus helped him push through the pain.
Meanwhile, the martial artist shared that he is already preparing for another world record attempt to further elevate Pakistan’s image globally. He expressed a strong desire to inspire young athletes through discipline and perseverance. His goal remains to keep raising national pride through international achievements.
