Punjab CBD accelerates work on CBD Walk

Published on: December 21, 2025 2:51 AM

Punjab Central Business District Development Authourity (PCBDDA) also known as Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), has significantly accelerated construction work on CBD Walk, a premium retail destination being developed on CBD Route 47, further reinforcing Lahore’s emergence as a modern commercial hub. The project comprises 32 retail units of four marlas each, designed to offer a fine retail experience with contemporary urban aesthetics.

CBD Punjab is progressing ahead of its planned schedule, reflecting strong project management, effective coordination and full mobilization of resources at site. Major construction milestones have already been achieved, including excavation, earth compaction, lean concrete, steel fixing and raft concrete, marking steady advancement towards timely delivery.

CBD Punjab will provide shell and core structures to investors within the committed timelines, ensuring confidence, transparency, and reliability for stakeholders investing in this flagship retail development.

Executive Director Technical Riaz Hussain stated, “CBD Punjab is ahead of its planned schedule, and the contractor is fully mobilised. To ensure efficiency and avoid any inconvenience to the public, we have installed a dedicated batching plant on site. This minimizes transportation requirements and ensures that no traffic hindrance is caused on Route 47.”

CBD Punjab is strictly adhering to environmental by-laws during construction. Daily water sprinkling is being carried out to control dust, while all construction materials are properly covered and stored to ensure environmental protection and public safety.

CEO CBD Punjab Imran Amin emphasized that CBD Walk reflects CBD Punjab’s commitment to timely execution, investor facilitation and sustainable development. He added that the project will set new benchmarks for retail infrastructure in Lahore while contributing to organized urban growth.

CBD Walk is poised to become a vibrant retail destination, offering investors a secure, well-planned, and future-ready commercial opportunity under the vision of CBD Punjab.
