Former cabinet member Kamran Khan Bangash termed the verdict “baseless” and politically motivated. He warned that interference in the judiciary, politics, bureaucracy, and parliament could lead the country toward chaos. He also stressed PTI’s support for the armed forces when acting within their constitutional role.

PTI provincial deputy information secretary Ikram Khattan accused the government of operating under an “undeclared martial law” and claimed the judiciary had been paralysed after the 26th and 27th Constitutional Amendments. He said other politicians had also received Toshakhana gifts but were never questioned, portraying the sentence as a political attack on Khan.

Protests were also held in Mansehra, Mohmand, and Bajaur, where rallies featured banners, placards, and slogans against the federal government. Party leaders including Kamal Saleem Swati, Sajid Khan Mohmand, Mahboob Sher, and Malik Naveed Ahmad led the demonstrations. Participants condemned the sentences as unjust and vowed to spread Imran Khan’s message nationwide.

PTI workers described the verdict as a blow to Pakistan’s justice system and emphasized the need for unity against what they perceive as politically motivated persecution. Demonstrators across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa demanded the government review the ruling and respect constitutional processes.
