Asim Azhar praises lead pair’s chemistry in Meri Zindagi Hai Tu

Published on: December 23, 2025 2:14 PM

Singer Asim Azhar is celebrating a major professional milestone while applauding the creative team behind Meri Zindagi Hai Tu, particularly lead actors Hania Amir and Bilal Abbas Khan.

The singer announced on Monday that the drama’s original soundtrack, a collaboration with the legendary Sabri Sisters, has reached the No. 1 position on Spotify’s Top Songs Pakistan chart. This also marks Asim’s first song to top the national Spotify rankings.

Sharing his excitement on Instagram, Asim Azhar posted a video of himself performing the emotional track by a fireside. He thanked listeners for the overwhelming love and support, calling the achievement deeply meaningful.

Alongside celebrating the chart success, Asim Azhar praised the drama’s cast and crew for bringing the song’s emotions to life on screen. He specifically highlighted the on-screen chemistry between Hania Amir and Bilal Abbas Khan.

Tagging the two actors, along with directors Musaddiq Malek and Nadeem Baig and broadcaster ARY Digital, Asim wrote that the team had “outdone” itself. He added that the Ayra-Kamyar moments in the drama resonated strongly with viewers.

“I can say this on behalf of the whole world that the Ayra-Kamyar moment had us all in our feels,” Asim wrote, expressing anticipation for upcoming episodes of the drama.

His comments quickly caught fans’ attention and reignited online discussion about his dynamic with Hania Amir. The two were previously linked romantically between 2018 and 2020 before parting ways.

Speculation has resurfaced in recent weeks due to subtle social media interactions, though neither has commented directly on the matter. Asim later became engaged to influencer Merub Ali, but confirmed earlier this year that the engagement had ended.

Meri Zindagi Hai Tu continues to enjoy strong viewership, with its soundtrack’s chart-topping success further cementing its cultural impact. Industry observers say the blend of powerful performances, emotional storytelling, and soulful music has played a key role in its widespread appeal.
