Sindh Minister for Local Government, Housing and Town Planning, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, in his message on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and Christmas, said that the leadership, principles and vision of Quaid-e-Azam remain a guiding light for every citizen of Pakistan even today. He said that Quaid-e-Azam’s guiding principles of Unity, Faith and Discipline provide a strong foundation for national construction and development, and by following them a strong and prosperous Pakistan can be built.

He said that Quaid-e-Azam always emphasized the rule of law, social justice and the protection of minority rights, and envisioned a Pakistan where every citizen enjoys religious freedom, equal rights and opportunities for progress. Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that in the current circumstances, national unity is indispensable, and through economic stability, promotion of education and investment in modern technology, the country can be put on the path of development. He added that prioritizing national interests over personal interests is the need of the hour, so that the foundation of an economy can be laid which provides equal opportunities for all segments of society.

Extending congratulations to the Christian community on the occasion of Christmas, the Minister said that Pakistan is a country for followers of all religions, and the Christian community has rendered valuable services in the fields of education, health and other sectors.

In conclusion, he said that Quaid-e-Azam’s dream was of a Pakistan based on tolerance, love and justice, and that this day provides an opportunity to renew the resolve to translate his ideals into action and take the country to new heights of progress.
