Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed agreed to expand bilateral investment and economic cooperation. They stressed stronger collaboration in energy, infrastructure, technology, and people-to-people exchanges. The talks were held during the UAE president’s first official visit to Pakistan.
Moreover, both leaders emphasized enhancing bilateral trade, citing strong potential for shared economic growth. They reviewed progress in existing cooperation frameworks and discussed new investment opportunities. They reaffirmed commitment to deepening long-standing fraternal relations between the two countries.

Additionally, the leaders exchanged views on important regional and international developments. They agreed to maintain close coordination on matters of mutual interest. They also reiterated a shared vision for peace, stability, and sustainable development.
Earlier, Sheikh Mohamed arrived in Islamabad with a high-level delegation. Prime Minister Shehbaz, senior cabinet members, and Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir received him at Nur Khan Airbase. The visit featured a 21-gun salute, guard of honour, and fighter jet escort.

Meanwhile, the government released a welcome song titled Ahlan wa Sahlan, Marhaba. The song highlighted ceremonial moments and warm exchanges between the leaders. The UAE president later departed after completing his one-day official visit.
