King Frederik and Queen Mary celebrate twins’ 15th birthday

King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark celebrated a joyful milestone on Thursday as their twins, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, turned 15. The royal family shared a series of sweet photos on their official Instagram account, offering fans a glimpse of the young royals on their special day.

The first image in the carousel showed the siblings standing side by side in warm sunlight, with Prince Vincent in a dark jacket over a collared shirt and Princess Josephine wearing a grey coat while resting her hand gently on her brother’s shoulder. “Their Royal Highnesses Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine have a birthday and are turning 15 today,” the caption read. It added that the photos were taken shortly before the New Year at Amalienborg Palace, the family’s official residence in Copenhagen.

Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine are the youngest children of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary. The royal couple also have two older children, Prince Christian and Princess Isabella, who joined in celebrating their younger siblings’ milestone.
