The conversation turned to the rumors when Arnett mentioned being asked in a prior interview to reveal something about Cooper that fans might not know. Arnett recalled considering addressing the persistent chatter, clarifying that Cooper had not undergone any cosmetic procedures. “Everybody thinks that Bradley’s had plastic surgery. What people don’t know is that he hasn’t. Of course, he hasn’t,” Arnett said during the podcast.

Cooper chimed in, noting that recent compliments about his appearance may have fueled online speculation. “I get people coming up to me the last couple weeks. They’re like, ‘Oh, you look good!’” the A Star is Born actor explained. He emphasized that the buzz is likely tied to his recent physical transformation for the 2023 biopic Maestro, in which he portrayed legendary composer Leonard Bernstein. The role required a dramatic change in appearance, sparking widespread discussion online.

Rumors intensified in late 2025 as Cooper made several public appearances alongside Arnett while promoting their film Is This Thing On?. Despite the speculation, the actor stressed that all transformations were role-related and natural. Fans have expressed relief on social media, praising Cooper for addressing the rumors with humor and honesty.
