The program aims to attract outstanding international students and provides an opportunity for scholars to pursue advanced studies in China. Tianjin University currently offers 104 Master’s and 125 PhD programs, including 29 Master’s and 55 PhD programs taught in English. Both Master’s and PhD students can benefit from this scholarship, which covers full tuition, accommodation or housing subsidy, medical insurance, and a monthly stipend of CNY 3,500. The scholarship is awarded for the full duration of the degree, provided students maintain satisfactory academic performance. HEC highlighted that it will not bear any financial liability for the program, as all costs are fully covered by the Chinese government.
