Bilawal highlights Sindh’s major development gains

Published on: January 15, 2026 9:00 PM

SINDH: Sindh government is boosting health and education across the province, said PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Free world-class medical facilities are now available in major hospitals, and educational opportunities are expanding. Bilawal highlighted that these reforms are gaining recognition at national and international levels.

The government has focused on healthcare improvements, including strengthening hospitals across Sindh. Jinnah Hospital now offers modern facilities, and cardiac treatment at NICVD is free. Eleven new NICVD-style hospitals have been established province-wide. Advanced cancer treatment is also available, including the introduction of CyberKnife technology.

In education, Sindh has doubled the number of universities and increased access to quality learning programs. The provincial government also launched a poverty reduction initiative and distributed two hundred thousand solar energy systems. These steps aim to improve living standards and economic opportunities across Sindh.

Revenue collection has improved due to efficient administration and better governance. Sindh continues to provide free healthcare and education while ensuring transparency and service quality. Bilawal emphasized that the provincial government is committed to sustainable growth across all sectors.
