Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘King’ set to roar december 2026

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has officially revealed the release date for his highly anticipated film King, confirming it will hit cinemas on December 24, 2026, with a striking announcement video.
The actor shared the teaser on social media, showcasing powerful visuals from the movie. The footage features Shah Rukh in a rugged look, wearing a torn white shirt with his face smeared in blood.

The announcement video opens with the bold title ROAR against a dramatic backdrop, followed by the impactful line, “This Christmas, fear wears the crown,” hinting at the film’s larger-than-life scale and intensity.
Sharing the post, Khan wrote, “#KING is Ready to ROAR on 24.12.2026 in Cinemas. #ItsKingTime #KingDateAnnouncement,” further building anticipation among fans ahead of the festive release.

Earlier, on Shah Rukh Khan’s 60th birthday last November, the makers had unveiled the captivating title video for King, featuring high-octane sequences that introduced the mercenary character he portrays in the drama.
The initial glimpse revealed SRK’s ruthless mercenary persona, who has reportedly lost count of those he has killed, uncertain whether they were good or bad, emphasizing the film’s intense narrative and action-packed premise.

Red Chillies Entertainment, the film’s production house, shared the title clip with the caption, “Sau deshon mein badnaam, Duniya ne diya sirf ek hi naam-#KING #KingTitleReveal. It’s Showtime! In cinemas 2026,” generating massive buzz online.
With its dramatic visuals, high-stakes storyline, and Shah Rukh Khan’s commanding presence, King is shaping up to be one of Bollywood’s most awaited releases this holiday season.
