Pakistan, Saudi Arabia to deepen energy cooperation

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to deepen cooperation in energy and minerals sectors. Officials discussed expanding collaboration and exploring new investment opportunities. The move aims to strengthen longstanding economic and strategic ties between the two countries.

The announcement came during a meeting between Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik and Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy. Both sides reviewed ongoing projects and examined ways to enhance joint ventures in energy and mineral resources. They reaffirmed their commitment to mutually beneficial economic growth.

Al-Malkiy appreciated Pakistan’s participation in the recent Future Minerals Forum in Riyadh. He highlighted the importance of continuous engagement to advance cooperation in the minerals sector. The minister congratulated Saudi Arabia on the successful forum, calling it a platform for regional collaboration.

Officials noted the potential for Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to expand technology exchange and sustainable development initiatives. They expressed confidence that bilateral relations would yield tangible outcomes in investment and industry development. Both sides emphasized maintaining close coordination to maximize benefits.
