Shehbaz Sharif to attend Munich security conference in Germany

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to visit Germany from February 13 to 15 to attend the prestigious Munich Security Conference, where he will engage with global leaders on trade, security, and cooperation.

Officials confirmed that on the sidelines of the conference, Shehbaz Sharif will hold high-level meetings with world leaders to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss regional stability, economic partnerships, and diplomatic collaborations.

The Germany visit is primarily bilateral, focusing on enhancing economic ties, trade agreements, and mutual cooperation, while the Prime Minister will also explore opportunities for investment and technology transfer to benefit Pakistan’s development goals.

Following Germany, Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to visit Vienna, Austria, later this month, where discussions will continue on trade, security collaboration, and strengthening Pakistan’s relations with European nations for sustainable diplomatic progress.

Sources revealed that the final itinerary is being finalized, with emphasis on structured dialogue, strategic engagements, and participation in panels at the Munich Security Conference, reflecting Pakistan’s active role in global security discussions.

The Prime Minister’s tour is part of Pakistan’s broader diplomatic outreach, highlighting the country’s commitment to fostering international partnerships, improving economic ties, and contributing to regional peace and security amid evolving global dynamics.
