
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Yar Muhammad Khan, the Caretaker Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, to review preparations for the upcoming elections and overall security arrangements. The move aims to improve intelligence-based operations and enhance preventive measures against terrorism. Officials believe that a dedicated counterterrorism unit will significantly reinforce long-term security infrastructure in the area.
