BN Polo defeat FG Polo 8–4 on day two of 6th Jinnah Gold Polo Cup

Published on: February 26, 2026 9:47 PM

Lahore (February 26, 2026): BN Polo delivered an impressive performance to defeat FG Polo by 8–4 on the second day of the 6th Jinnah Gold Polo Cup 2026, organised under the auspices of Jinnah Polo Fields.

BN Polo showcased superior teamwork and attacking prowess throughout the contest. Tito Ruiz Guinazu led the charge with a remarkable four-goal contribution, setting the tone for his side’s dominance. Saqib Khan Khakwani added three goals to strengthen BN Polo’s grip on the match, while Ibrahim Khalil contributed one goal to complete the team’s tally of eight.

FG Polo, despite a spirited effort, managed four goals in response. Argentine seven-goal player Raul Laplacette scored twice, demonstrating his class and experience. Amin Rehman and Marcos Rivarola added one goal each, but their efforts were not enough to overturn BN Polo’s commanding lead.

The match attracted a large and enthusiastic crowd at Jinnah Polo Fields. Among those in attendance were the club’s Secretary, Major Adil Sultan Rao (R), former polo players, families, and a significant number of polo enthusiasts, all of whom witnessed a competitive and entertaining encounter. The tournament action continues today (Friday), with Master Paints/Diamond Paints set to face FG Polo in what promises to be another exciting fixture of the ongoing championship.
