Director General (DG) of Inter‑Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry addressed a high‑profile press conference in Rawalpindi on Friday to outline Pakistan’s measured response to recent unprovoked firing from Afghan along the shared border. He provided comprehensive details of military actions taken to protect national security and defend territorial integrity. The briefing offered clear insights into the evolving situation, demonstrating Pakistan’s commitment to protecting its citizens and borders against external threats.
Gen Ahmed Sharif told reporters that Pakistan’s armed forces responded professionally and effectively to hostile fire directed at its border security posts, underscoring that such aggression cannot be tolerated.
