Pakistan’s security forces have killed 464 Afghan Taliban fighters and injured over 665 during intensified operations under “Operation Ghazb lil Haq,” Minister Attaullah Tarar said. The ongoing military campaign aims to secure the Pakistan-Afghanistan border and neutralize hostile positions. The operation has directly impacted Taliban capabilities across multiple regions.
In a post on X, Tarar reported that 188 Taliban check posts were destroyed and 31 others captured. He added that 192 tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery guns were also destroyed during the operation. Air strikes effectively targeted 56 locations across Afghanistan, according to the minister.

The announcement follows heightened tensions along the border, with security forces facing repeated Taliban attacks. Tarar said Pakistani forces successfully repelled large-scale assaults across Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa overnight. These counteroffensives reflect a coordinated effort to maintain border security and national sovereignty.

During the skirmishes, at least 67 Taliban fighters were killed, the minister added. One soldier was martyred while five others were wounded in the clashes. Officials emphasized that these losses significantly degrade Taliban operational strength along Pakistan’s frontier.
