Massive Losses for TTP in Operation Ghazb lil Haq as Pakistan Strikes Terrorist Camps in Afghanistan - Pakistan Observer

ISLAMABAD — Pakistan’s security forces have killed 663 combatants of the Afghan Taliban regime and Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists during Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar announced on Friday.

Providing an update at 16:00 hours, Tarar said the operation also resulted in the destruction of 249 Afghan posts, the capture of 44 others, and injuries to 887 operatives. In addition, around 224 tanks, armoured vehicles, and artillery guns were destroyed, highlighting the scale and precision of the offensive.

He noted that approximately 70 terrorist sites and support locations across Afghanistan were successfully targeted through air operations. On the night of March 12–13, 2026, Pakistani forces struck terror-affiliated installations in Kabul, Paktia, and Kandahar, including logistical bases and camps.

In a post on X, the minister shared video footage showing that Pakistan’s strikes were aimed exclusively at terrorist infrastructure. “No civilian population or civilian infrastructures were targeted as falsely propagated by Afghan regime officials and media,” Tarar emphasized.

The operation is part of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to counter cross-border terrorism and dismantle militant networks operating from Afghan soil. Officials said the offensive focuses on neutralizing elements linked to the Afghan Taliban regime and Fitna al-Khawarij, which have been responsible for recent attacks along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
