Zendaya will always love making a fashion statement. Two days after the Challengers star made her first public appearance since news of her marriage to Tom Holland, she stepped out in an all-white look that inspired dreams of what she wore on her wedding day.
While attending the Black Women in Hollywood Awards hosted by Essence in Los Angeles March 12, Zendaya donned a vintage Cachè dress with a gold and silver encrusted flower on the shoulder, a piece originally designed in 1987 for Whitney Houston before it was donned by Sarah Jessica Parker’s character Carrie Bradshaw in 2008’s Sex and the City.
The Euphoria actress also sported a pair of white Christian Louboutin heels.
But it wasn’t just Zendaya’s white get-up that caught the public’s attention. Beneath a tri-band rolling ring on her left ring finger, the 29-year-old wore what appeared to be the same gold band she has been seen wearing lately.
Indeed, before the Emmy winner attended Paris Fashion Week on March 10 in another an all-white outfit-a recurring theme since her marriage news-she sported the gold ring on multiple occasions.
Posing alongside Robert Pattinson during a photo shoot for their upcoming marriage flick The Drama, Zendaya paired her Jessica McCormack-designed engagement ring from Tom with the traditional band.
Plus, she ditched her 5-carat engagement ring for only the gold band during an outing in LA last month.
Neither Zendaya or Tom have publicly spoken about the marriage news, which was first revealed by her longtime stylist Law Roach at the Actor Awards.
“The wedding has already happened,” he told Access Hollywood March 1 through laughter. “You missed it.”
Meanwhile, Zendaya’s mom Claire Stoermerappeared to confirm the news the next day by sharing Law’s interview on Instagram, writing alongside the clip, “The laugh” courtesy e! News
