In a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations, the military emphasized its resolve to eliminate all threats to national stability. The statement noted that Pakistan continues to face challenges from terrorism and extremism, but the armed forces, in coordination with law enforcement agencies and the public, remain steadfast in ensuring security.

The armed forces reaffirmed their commitment to defending the country’s borders and maintaining internal stability against all forms of aggression. Senior military leadership, including Syed Asim Munir, Naveed Ashraf, and Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, extended congratulations to the nation and paid tribute to the resilience and unity of the people.

The statement also highlighted the significance of the Lahore Resolution, describing it as a defining moment that paved the way for an independent homeland for Muslims of the subcontinent. It added that Pakistan continues to move forward under democratic principles, focusing on strengthening institutions and ensuring citizens’ well-being.

Meanwhile, officials noted that security forces have recently responded to cross-border attacks, resulting in the elimination of militants and the destruction of key infrastructure. In a separate development, the government announced a temporary pause in Operation Ghazab lil-Haq during Eid ul Fitr as a goodwill gesture.
