Meanwhile, Shehbaz reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong condemnation of continued attacks, especially those targeting civilian infrastructure. He expressed solidarity with the Iranian people and extended condolences for the significant loss of lives.

Furthermore, the prime minister outlined Pakistan’s active diplomatic outreach to major global and regional stakeholders. He said efforts include engagement with the United States, Gulf countries, and other Islamic nations.

According to officials, these initiatives aim to create conditions conducive to dialogue and eventual de-escalation. He also noted strong international support for Pakistan’s peace-focused approach.

In addition, Islamabad is preparing to host key diplomatic engagements to address the crisis. Foreign ministers from Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt are scheduled to visit for high-level talks. These meetings will focus on coordinated strategies to reduce tensions and promote stability. The visiting dignitaries are also expected to meet the prime minister during their stay.

In a social media statement, Shehbaz thanked the Iranian president for recognizing Pakistan’s efforts. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to constructive diplomacy and regional peace.

Officials believe continued engagement and trust-building could open pathways to negotiations. However, the situation remains fluid, with further developments expected in the coming days.
