
Widespread rain and thunderstorms are forecast across Pakistan, with flood risks in parts of Balochistan. Residents are advised to remain cautious as heavy rain, hail, and strong winds are expected. Authorities warn that local rivers and canals could overflow, causing flash floods.
The Meteorological Department said most parts of the country will remain cloudy, with intermittent rain and hail in several regions. Upper areas, the Potohar plateau, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and parts of Balochistan are likely to experience showers and thunderstorms.

Balochistan faces the highest flood risk as continuous rainfall may swell rivers and canals. Officials cautioned about flash floods, urging local communities to stay alert and avoid low-lying areas. Rain in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is expected across both upper and plain regions, including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kalam, Shangla, Buner, Kohistan, and Malakand.
Central and southern Punjab, including Islamabad, Murree, and Rawalpindi, may experience intermittent showers with gusty winds and thunderstorms. Sindh is expected to see light rain in interior and coastal districts, with Karachi possibly receiving hail, strong winds, and thunderstorms.

The ongoing weather system is expected to continue intermittently until March 29. Temperatures in Karachi currently hover at 28°C with 78% humidity. Authorities urged residents nationwide to take precautions during heavy rain and strong winds.
