Businessmen assured of favourable environment, security

Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi held an important meeting with an 18-member delegation of businessmen led by Mirza Ishtiaq Baig at the Governor House on Sunday.

A detailed discussion was held on economic issues and matters of mutual interests.

They emphasized promoting investment, improving the business environment and achieving sustainable economic stability.

A review of possibilities for enhancing industrial and commercial activities and increasing exports also came under consideration.

Governor Sind Nehal Hashmi said that the economic recovery vision of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is being appreciated globally.

He said that PML-N Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has always introduced business-friendly policies.

Agreement reached on a joint strategy for economic recovery, increased investment and job creation.

The Governor assured investors of a favorable environment, facilities and full protection.

The delegation expressed full confidence in government policies and emphasized strengthening public-private sector linkages.

Promoting simplicity and austerity is the need of the hour, Hashmi said adding that in current circumstances, austerity was a collective responsibility.

Mirza Ishtiaq Baig said that the business community will remain at the forefront alongside the government for economic improvement.
